Based in Denmark and covering the markets of Denmark, Norway, Sweden and Finland, AH diagnostics is a leading distributor of scientific instruments and laboratory consumables for the Life Science and Diagnostics markets. Through their strong focus on highly-specialised knowlege and the expertise of their 48 employees, AH diagnostics have achieved revenues of 19 million Euros in 2020.

This acquisition will reinforce Dominique Dutscher's position as the largest independent European distributor of laboratory supplies with circa EUR 300 million of combined revenues. The Dutscher group consists of 17 companies in France, UK, Switzerland, Spain, Italy, Germany, Lithuania, Belgium, Czech Republic and Slovakia. This new development offers additional presence to the group, whose constituent companies have complementary geographical footprint and a shared set of core values, based firmly in strong customer relationships and service.

In keeping with the strategy of the Dutscher group, all group companies leverage their respective strengths to the benefit of their customers and gain access to a larger product portfolio from many of the leading European and Global brands. Further benefits to the laboratory supply chain will be delivered through shared best practice on marketing and logistics, creating real value for clients and suppliers alike.

Dominique Wencker, CEO, Dutscher Group :

« Dutscher has built upon its Life Science expertise to develop a significant share of the laboratory supplies market in France and other European countries. The group is well known for the quality of its service and technical support, the close relationship it maintains with customers and its capability to deliver through an extensive inventory and class-leading logistics capability. Bringing AH diagnotics into the Dutscher family of companies will strengthen the position of the group in the Nordic countries and it will also allow us to share best practice whilst investing in new opportunities. We are particularly excited about the extension of our group activities in the Nordic region and the geographical reach that this change will bring. »

Niels Stampe Rüdiger, CEO, AH diagnostics :

«AH diagnostics has for more than 20 years been working with the Dutscher company and we see this integration of AH diagnostics as an outstanding opportunity to get access to and benefit from being part of a large international organization while keeping the Danish organization as it is »

Dominique Dutscher will continue to pursue its vision of offering a differentiated end-to-end service to research laboratories on a pan-European basis. In this context, the group is exploring additional acquisitions and partnerships designed to further broaden its geographical coverage and the range of it's products and services available to laboratory customers.
