System for 3D cell culture thanks to the transient magnetization of cells that naturally attach to the NanoShuttle-PL magnetic beads.

Transiently and non-invasively magnetized cells are placed in a Cell-Repellent plate. A magnet placed above the plate attracts the cells to the air/medium interface. Magnetic forces bundle the cells together, favouring intercellular interactions at the origin of the extracellular matrix synthesis.
Transiently and non-invasively magnetized cells are placed in a plate and a magnetic holder will be positioned underneath that plate, keeping the cells at the bottom of the well. In a few minutes or even hours, the plate containing the spheroids can be removed from the magnetic holder and cultured over the long term.
Based on the 3D magnetic Spheroid printing, transiently and non-invasively magnetized cells thanks to Nanoshuttle-PL beads are positioned in a ring shape mimicking certain in-vivo patterns and their functions (ex. contraction).
