PUNCHOUT

Punchout, an electronic catalog belonging to the family of e-procurement solutions, offers the user a purchasing experience, unlike EDI, which simply consists of exchanging digital files.
It is part of an approach to centralising and dematerialising commercial transactions between a company/organisation/institution and its suppliers. It refers to the connection between your purchasing environment and our web-based solution. This link provides access to negotiated contractual conditions, and enables purchase requisitions to be transferred to your own validation environment.

Updated in real time, this dynamic catalog system enables purchasing departments to increase efficiency and save precious time.

How punchout works

The "punchout" electronic catalog is accessible via an interface between your purchasing solution and our website.

From this ergonomic and personalised interface, your employees have access to your negotiated offer, choose their products and add them to a basket, which can then be retrieved in your e-purchasing solution in the form of a "purchase request".

This operation follows the predefined validation circuit and is then transformed into an order.

Benefits of punchout

  1. Save money
Automated catalog maintenance and reduced labor costs.

  2. Data validity, cost control
Dutscher guarantees the publication of an up-to-date punchout catalog, in compliance with contractual conditions. Purchasing is simplified and centralised within your system, enabling you to better manage your expenses.

  3. Optimized user experience
Punchout offers an excellent user experience... Automatic log-in, optimized search engine, dynamic product suggestions, favorites lists, reminders of previous orders... Navigation is fluid and intuitive. Rich, up-to-date content (stock availability, photos, videos, guides, technical data sheets, discounted prices, new products, range extensions, substitute products, etc.).

  4. Improving productivity
The vast majority of tasks are automated, with users guided in their choices by relevant tools and data. No more "double entry" of purchase orders (one on the supplier site, one in your ERP). Your decision-making flows into play according to your rules. In-house purchasing teams gain in productivity and can concentrate on higher value-added tasks.
