Grouped under the name GoGreen, we have implemented several actions aimed at minimizing our ecological impact. Respect for the environment is one of our core concerns, and Dutscher has integrated sustainable development into its internal and external operations.

ISO 14001 certification: 2015
Dominique Dutscher has been ISO 14001 certified since 2017. Respect for the environment is at the heart of our concerns. This certification is obtained after an audit and is based on the continuous improvement principle of environmental performance by managing the impact of the company's activities. The continuous improvement of our environmental actions aims to achieve this objective.
ISO 50001 certification: 2018
Dutscher is ISO 50001certified. ISO 50001 is an energy management model for all organisations, large and small, public and private. As part of its commitment to respecting the environment, Dutscher aims to reduce its energy consumption and expenditure while helping to reduce its ecological footprint.
EcoVadis certification
The actions implemented over several years have earned Dominique Dutscher a silver medal from EcoVadis. This medal distinguishes the top 25% of companies assessed on this global platform, which offers one of the leading CSR monitoring solutions. EcoVadis assessments cover 21issues grouped into 4 themes (Environment, Social &Human Rights, Ethics, Responsible Purchasing). Our membership to EcoVadis enables us to measure the results of our efforts and to move forward in new directions.
OEA certification
Dutscher is also certified as an Authorised Economic Operator (AEO) by the customs authorities. This certification is the result of a high level of control over its operations and goods movements. It emphasises compliance with appropriate safety and security standards, and practical standards of professional skills or qualifications.
Dutscher has been involved in environmental actions for several years, adopting practices such as reducing and sorting waste, preserving resources, recycling, and selecting environmentally friendly products.
As an extension of this commitment, we have started the evaluation of our products by analyzing their impacts on the environment. Our goal is to support you in a transition towards more sustainable choices, by offering you an objective and detailed evaluation of our products. This initiative is part of our ongoing commitment to support your ecological approach, while preserving the quality and effectiveness of the solution we offer you.
We meticulously collected data from partner manufacturers, to evaluate each product according to various environmental criteria, including their manufacturing process, shipping, use and end of life.
Following this rigorous evaluation, we assign each product a rating as well as an explanatory document. This rating called “GoGreen Score” serves as a reference, offering a comparative tool between similar products.
We are committed to expanding the number of “ecological” products and reducing the environmental impact in our catalog.
Racks of tips
Dutscher offers a free service to set up and recover boxes for your polypropylene waste related to tips. We take back your tip-racks and entrust them to a French recycling company, which will give them a new life.

In order to limit the waste associated with the shipment of heat-sensitive products, Dutscher offers a free service for the return of KEEPCOOL cold packs.
The conditions are set out in the commitment charter, which you simply need to complete to sign up to this service.
With this simple gesture, you can now extend the life of your cold packs, which will benefit from several uses before reaching the end of their life.
Early 2021, Dutscher moved into its new logistics premises of 14,000 m². These premises have many benefits in terms of CSR: the new building is built to all RT standards; it is equipped with fully LED lightingand motion detectors for lighting are installed in all administrative buildings.
Reducing packaging :
We limit our own packaging, use recyclable packaging and cardboard, and keep our packaging sizes to a minimum. In order to reduce the carbon footprint associated with transporting boxes, a new Jivaro machine has been installed: it adjusts the contents in the box to reduce empty transport. The installation has saved 20% on empty transport and has had a positive impact in terms of pollution.
20% less empty transport = 114 tons of CO2 saved
Waste management policy :
Our waste management policy is very clear: we give priority to recycling and/or reuse. All waste produced by the company (paper, cardboard, plastics, electrical equipment, etc.) is strictly sorted and sent to recycling centers. This recycling objective involves training all our staff and raising their awareness of the circular economy principles.
Transport :
Our goods are collected from our site in Bernolsheim with tractors powered by biogas CNG (natural gas for vehicles). We favor grouped deliveries by sea container to avoid increasing road transport.
Eco-design :
Select products manufactured with minimal environmental impact. Our sourcing team pays particular attention to items whose manufacturers have taken care to ensure eco-design.
Programme “Le Contrat Vert Dutscher”
Si vous passez plusieurs commandes par mois, le Contrat Vert Dutscher est fait pour vous ! Dutscher propose de vous rembourser* une partie des frais de port , même si vous ne les avez pas payés.
Chaque jour, nous expédions des milliers de colis. Chaque commande correspond à une ou plusieurs expéditions, et chaque expédition a un impact carbone sur l'environnement. Or, nous pouvons développer notre activité avec votre laboratoire tout en réduisant l'impact carbone grâce au Contrat Vert Dutscher. Il s'agit d'un accord par lequel nos clients acceptent de s'organiser pour davantage grouper leurs commandes tout en développant leur volume d'achats chez Dutscher. Lorsque ces conditions sont réunies, Dutscher s'engage à leur reverser une partie des économies réalisées sur le coût du transport, même si l'envoi a été effectué franco de port.
“Green Path for the Forest" programme
Dutscher has set up a reforestation programme that involves planting trees and restoring forested areas in France. To encourage people to choose more environmentally friendly products, Dutscher is committed to planting a tree for every order of GoGreen items worth 500 euros or more, excluding VAT.
To take part in this programme, simply add the part number 473360 ("tree GoGreen reforestation action") to your order of GoGreen products. This free initiative, fully funded by Dutscher, will help you improve your carbon footprint.
Your laboratories use consumables transported by plane, boat, or lorry, which generate a carbon footprint. We estimate that transporting one ton of consumables can generate up to 130 kg of CO2.
Since one tree absorbs an average of 35 kg of CO2 per year, 4 trees need to be planted to 'neutralise' the impact of transporting one ton of plastic.
For every 250 kg of plastic supplied to your establishment, we will have 1 tree planted in your name (for carbon neutrality), and we'll top it up with 1 additional tree, i.e. 2 trees planted for every 250 kg of plastic.
There are no obligations, and the programme is fully funded by Dutscher: all you have to do is join Green Path for the Forest and we take the necessary steps for you.

In order to avoid losses and make the best possible use of equipment, Dutscher offers you a selection* of refurbished or slightly damaged appliances, without compromising their functionality. These appliances have suffered minor damage from knocks or scratches but are in perfect working order and at very reduced prices. They come with a manufacturer’s warranty.

In the same spirit of upcycling, Dutscher offers its customers a platform where they can sell their equipment second-hand to extend its lifespan. Dutscher takes no commission and offers to provide transport and commissioning services on request.

Dominique Dutscher encourages their customers to take advantage of lease-purchasing, which has the advantage of offering several products lives cycles. The value of a product now lies more in its function. This approach encourages pooling, reuse, modularity, and end-of-life management for our products.
Our after-sales service enables every customer to have their laboratory equipment serviced or repaired. This applies both to products purchased from Dominique Dutscher and from other distributors. Dominique Dutscher also relies onMC2, a service provider independent of micropipette manufacturers and specialising in metrology, maintenance, repair, calibration, and testing of all brands of micropipettes. This helps to extend product’s life cycle.
